Well, Monica,
    When we were in WI in October we saw so many nice rockgardens, both
public and private, great nurseries with greenhouse filled with rock garden
plants. Got the bug again......
    I have visions of tearing out the lower center of my hillside garden
that has been there for about 12 years now. Everything is to be cleared out
and either moved to another spot or passed on to another gardener. I have
visions of a rock garden in that area now. Want to move boulders in, build
raised beds of stone, mix soil and really go for the miniature, dwarf and
little gems and buns. I am beginning to look for weathered stone here
locally already. Trying to find the kind that looks like it was half eaten
by worms....
    Already researching and making notes on plants.......
    Worse than Wind in the Willows here..... another new "fancy" for Mr.
Munchkin...
Hmm - sounds like a great use for my hill and tough spot! Do I really need more garden?!

My plans for next year are small still - I want find a tree to anchor the end of a bed and make that bed more symmetrical.


I remember a lot of discussion about phlox Empty Feelings - did anyone grow it this year?
