Re: Greenhouse

Barbara, about five years ago I built one here in Kansas City in my back
yard, while recovering from quadruple bypass surgury...and it has proven a
very good one. It was 14 degrees night before last and everything was cozy,
with Geraniums, a couple of kinds of Coleus and some germinting ornamental
grasses for the garden next year. I have split it with a draping, a
painting drape, and am heating it with a elecrtic space heater hooked to a
thermostat set at 45 degrees and activated by a probe in the box with the
germinating grasses. It hasn't seemed to raise my electric bill noticibly.
It's 8' X 12' and you can build it with stuph from the lumberyard. I'll
send you the plans for it for $10.00 plus postage. Like I said I've had it
for five years going day and night and no problems that I haven't been able
to handle. You can make it any size you want to, just make it in
increments of 2 feet and it'll be just phyne.At 04:12 PM 11/16/97 -0600, you
