Re: Is the little prince's rose garden in danger ?

I love it! Between the plants falling up to the sky in New Zealand and the
'Little Princes' rose garden becoming meteors, we have a lot to worry about!
And to think that I worry about my soil ammendments, compost and adding humus
in vast quantities all over my gardens, because the clay soil here tends to
smother everything and doesn't drain well!!
Now we have to look at the sky while we garden, to catch the flowers from New
Zealand, and in our 'moon gardens' watch the night sky to see the meteors
from the Little Princes' Rose Garden!! It will make some interesting watching
over the winter months here in St Louis, Missouri!
Being in Zone 5/6 I would like to plant something to remind me about all of
the above, what plants have the greatest tendancy to fly off to the sky from
'down under' and what plants are best suited for a meteor shower? I would
even consider growing indoors if they tend not to be hardy to our winters!
Wanda from St Louis :-)
