Re: Favorite gardening Christmas present

Hello Nancy and Barb P,

you girls have the best Xmas wish list so far and I would like the same
things--some one to do all the house work (including windows--which I
hate to do--dishes and ironing are second and third worst indoor chores)
cook IF I'm not in the mood then some big dumb brute to help hold the
dumb end of the tape measure when my husband need a helping hand-----and
I could spend every daylight hour in my flower beds or vegetable garden.

The compost tumbler sounds like a GREAT gift also. I have a LARGE
compost bin about 5ft by 10ft and a small pitch fork but my goodness
turning all of that over is a back breaking job. I am getting a little
too old for that much heavy lifting because it sure makes me sore the
next day.----But the results are so good to apply to your perennial
gardens the next spring and the soil is so easy to work after applying
compost for several years.
