These plants are pretty darned tough.  Just get it in the ground and in 
a couple of years you'll have a plant that's plenty big.  :)  Sun to 
part-shade is best, and unless you want millions of them throughout your
garden, an area without a lot of moisture is also good.

Marge Talt did an article on hardy Euphorbias in her Suite 101 column
this past June.  She talks about Euphorbia epithymoides (or E. polychromata
