Well, Susan, in the garden a lot of stuff can go wrong. Hard to hazard a
guess, so you need to tell us what you have been doing with them.
What kind of soil...
What kind of sun/shade
What kind of moisture...
I have found P. stolonifera more robust than P. divaricata - has spread
over a much wider area and faster. Both are growing in similar soil and
shade conditions in an area that can get pretty dry in summer when it
doesn't rain, even with watering. Soil is native clay amended.
