Rodgersia

Saw the exchange on R. pinnata. I have three huge clumps now,
started with one 5 years ago, divided the third year, they need dividing
again. They grow in a bright shade bed up against a building
foundation,
soil heavily amended with peat, manure, leaf mold, stays pretty damp
but is in no way 'boggy'. In the spring, I'll have 4 or 5 chunks to
find
a home for and would be happy to send them off to anyone for postage
costs. Mine need pest protection - the edges of the leaves got nibbled
this year - maybe slugs, maybe something else. Still a very handsome
plant, esp. with ferns, epimedium, astilbes, etc. Write
privately if you're interested.
