Ginny, forgive my ignorance but I wondered why you think
it's so important not to cut back the foliage of grey plants
such as Artemisia? This is my second year of growing it, I
didn't cut it back last winter and it came back beautifully
this spring. I had decided not to cut it back this autumn,
even though it's looked so ugly for the last couple of
weeks. Is it particularly vulnerable to bad weather and
likely to die if cut back?
Everyone else, is winterizing really a word, or has it been
invented for the purposes of this list? :o)
