Hi Nan...I live in Michigan so weeds are not a problem right now. In the
early spring I use a product called Snapshot. Its a granular like Preen
if your familar with that. I sprinkle it in my beds to prevent the weed
seeds from germinating. It works great and I like it better than Preen.
I usually go through my beds once a week to check for weeds. If I can
pull the weed Ido and I also use Roundup in a sprayer. I do the same in
my perennial gardens. My work is pulling weeds and spraying and I have
to say I love my job. I have always loved to pull weeds and was
astonished to find people who are willing to pay big bucks for the
service. I don't use any tools, just my hands.
After raising three children it was great to find something I enjoy
doing, and it keeps me fit.
