Had a real treat weekend before last, the Kent Hardy plant soc. organised a
coach party to Beervelde in Belgium, where there were 170 plant related
stalls, over half being plant stalls. nurseries from Holland, Belgium,
France, and the UK were there, and generally the prices were approx 2/3rds
that expected. The coach was positively groaning on the way back!
I picked up aload of must haves, 4 Heuchera(something for the Vine weevil to
get their teeth into!), 3 Asters, Assorted grasses, especially pleased to get
Miscanthus 'Sirene' not too sure if it will be hardy, plus bulbs of
Erythronium Pagoda, and Cans dens?(not sure on spelling).
Fantastic day out, will definitely have to go again
