I forgot this part. No composting is completely free of weed seed. Weed
seeds are supposed to be killed off by the heat generated. This requires
skill and attention especially in the hot months when you may not find it a
fun job. Sort of like a science experiment,sometimes it works, sometimes not.
When Mr. McSwain on the Victory Garden dumps that compost on his veggie beds,
remember that he has a huge staff to do the work before he appears.
