Well, it sounds like my information was correct: marginally hardy. I
suspect that my climate is a little warmer than Nancy's (aren't you around
Knoxville?) So maybe they'll survive. And, if they look like they're
slowing down, I may dig them up and grow in pots (or I may not, having spent
all day yesterday moving potted plants...)
I'm not sure about the moisture level of the spot they're planted. It used
to stay pretty moist, but landscaping improved the drainage in that area,
and it's under a roof overhang, so now I think it's dry. Probably will take
a few seasons for me to get the feel of it.
Ceres, I tend to overwinter my tender bulbs in the pots, as well. Part of
my "lazy gardener" credo!
