Hi Group,
I had to reply to the question on the poppies because last year in
summer I replied to the poppies auctions and paid $ 8.00 for poppies
and got a good size baggy full and not one came up either. It was
very dissappointing....I have done better with seed trades or buying
them from the store! They are easy from seed...I have planted mine
in an area where a fire came through here and they did great...must
like the potash! I just sprinkled them in fall and put a tiny bit of
soil over them so the birds wouldn't eat them all. Try this and see
what happens. I live in North part of calif (and we have all the 4
seasons here)and this seems to work well here. Hope this helps
