Hi Cheryl,
yes I have this one for about 2yrs now(also have S.kirilowii AKA S.arborea)
I like them very much;very hardy,very attractive to my taste anyway,however
give it room(5-10'H,wider at maturity) and expect suckering..
Lovely white upright,spirea type flowers in June-July..
(S.arboreas flowers droop wisteria fashion)..
New growth reddish..
Needs well drained soil but tolerant of heat and dry soils,which is what I
have here in my zone 6..
One of the first to leaf out in spring too..
Lovely but needs the space ..
I saw this one growing in Anchorage Alaska which verifies its zone 2
rating....
