I would second the warning on suckering, which for me bordered on being invasive. That said, however, the superfluous plants were easily removed..Hi Cheryl, yes I have this one for about 2yrs now(also have S.kirilowii AKA S.arborea) I like them very much;very hardy,very attractive to my taste anyway,however give it room(5-10'H,wider at maturity) and expect suckering..
S. sorbifolia is sometimes known as False Spirea.
