Re: Thermal label maker

Bill, it must work because you use toner - it doesn't work with injet.
For permanent labeling I use the same markers you do from Eon (Eon in Ohio
is better than the Michagan manufacturer because the metal edges are
rounded). I use a Brother P-Touch labelmaker that uses TZ laminated tape.
My unit is attached to my computer and came with 2 programs. It's easy to
use and the labels, after 6 years of neIndiana winters, summer sunshine,
etc, look the same as the day I made them. However, I didn't suggest this
to Al because it seemed to expensive for the task he described. Your
solution sounds good though, and I may give it a try. I could attach the
labels to the concave side of cut miniblinds. (The edges peel a bit on the
convex side.) I could use the laser printer at work and see how well the
labels weather this winter. Thanks for suggesting it.

Kitty
