Hi Greg,
Wilt-Pruf could help prevent wind burn on your hollies. It and other
anti-dessicants put a waxy coating on the leaves that prevent loss
of moisture. It's typically used when transplanting or to protect
broadleaf evergreen leaves in cold weather.
Unfortunately, it is expensive and may not solve your problem
entirely. I don't know how large the hollies are, but it may be
possible to protect them with pine boughs or a burlap screen mounted
on a wooden framework instead or in addition to the spray.
Because of the high cost of Wilt-Pruf, I've never used it on anything
like Vinca. In this case, I would _definitely_ recommend laying
pine boughs over the top.
Chris
