Re: Cool weather/bulb question

Hi all....the plants in my garden are breathing a huge sigh of relief due
to the cooler weather and rain that we have been experiencing in the last
few days. I just started my garden last spring and with this extremely hot
and dry summer I am glad that most everything is still alive!! I am so
excited that my anemone 'honorine jobert' has 5 buds on it, as I planted it
in August (I know, bad timing) and lost alot of leaves immediately. I am
relieved that it recovered enough to bloom. I am waiting for the shipment
of about 200 daffodil bulbs I ordered from The Daffodil Mart...in a long
bed, do most of you plant your bulbs in a pattern or randomly? I am also
getting 5 bulbs of the stargazer lily. Do you think they should be all
together or scattered in various locations? My bed is 42' long.

Happy Fall Y'All,
Lynn in NC
