liriope & deadheading

Hi all-
Color me lazy...but do I really have to deadhead liriope? We put some in
last fall so this is its first year of real bloom and I'm not sure what
to do. TIA

(who always wears gloves because when that sleeping 17mo-old wakes up
from her nap she wants Mommy NOW! (not after 10 minutes of handwashing!)
