Val is not exaggerating!!!!!!
We divided two different varieties of Miscanthus this spring and my sporting
hubby used every tool imagineable until he broke down and used the chain
saw..Each clump made about 6 new plantings,so my advise is:dont wait as long
as we did.Mine were proably 4-6 years old at first division..A good sharp hand
saw on not so mature-large clumps should work fine.Come spring its time to
divide the Ravenna Miscanthus The GIANT of the north,whew!
