Lenten Rose -Reply

Wonderful plant, one of my first shade plants, too,
recommended by a nursery I was visiting. So
cheerful when nothing else is in bloom in March in
my 6b garden. Any hellebore is wonderful.

For mine is just a little old-fashioned garden where
the flowers come together to praise the Lord and
teach all who look upon them to do likewise.

Up until now, in my limited gardening experience, I
have been planting
perennials in sunny spots in my yard. I have
decided to branch out and do
some planting in partial shade. While looking
through a recently acquired
catalog, I spotted a Lenten Rose (Helleborus
orientalis) and fell in love
with it. Any feedback???
