Re: Overwintering Calibrachoa

Chris,
I don't have any experience with Calibrachoa, but I do over winter a
lot of tender perennials in the house. I find that if I divide my
plants into smaller clumps, and then pot them up, I have a greater
survival rate over the winter months. I have a plant stand, built for
starting seeds, that is three shelves high with a two light fixture for
each shelf (four would be much better), and a timer set for 12 hours of
light works well for this purpose. Should I loose a plant or two (for
what ever reason) I still have several that live. Then when I replant
in the spring, I can either have several or replant in one big clump
again. It works for me!
