My Buddleia is also still blooming, even though we've had some frost, the
cultivar I have is Black Knight, also another one whose name eludes me right
now- a pink variety is still going..also, my David Austin rose 'Wine Portia'
still blooming it's head off, as well as the lavender. Even the Catherine
Woodbury daylily has bloomed and the Crocosmia "Lucifer" is still going. But
everything else has seen better days. We have a bunch of Lady Bugs on the
South side of our house (and in the house). The weather was beautiful
yesterday, in the low 70's. Leaves are almost off the crabapple and Rose of
Sharon, will have to do a pruning job soon. Leaves from our maple (which has
tar spot and leaves never changed color except to a dry yellow) are all over
the yard. Soon my husband will be out there with the leaf blower.
Will have to turn the compost pile before weather gets to cold (for me anyway
:~) ). Still lots to do...but when those seed catalogs come I will be staying
snuggled inside and dreaming about spring.

Janice
