Thanis, Louise. Something else for me to keep in mind for the spring
planting season. You might consider adding Scabiosa ochrelueca (I have a
nasty feeling I missspelled that one) to your list. In my garden it gets
about 30" tall with large numbers of small (1 1/2 inch) white flowers.
Blooms for a long time (mine is still blooming after 2 months), and so is
well worth it even if the bloom stalks tend to be a bit long, whippy and
bare.
My Papaver atlanticum are still blooming too, not bad performance from a
plant found in North Africa, but they are in fact a bit hardier than P
ruprifragum.
