Re: Late Autumn Perennials



I grew Bishop of LLandaff for the first time this year and it was amazing. 
The dahlias bloomed very late this year due to our drought, but even without 
flowers it was a very striking plant.  Japanese Bishop was every bit as 
nice, and some might prefer the slightly true-er red (unless I have them 
mislableled B of L has more orange in it's red).  The red-black foliage of 
both plants makes a wonderful backdrop for other plants.
