No one has mentioned my favorite- the phlox. I have Phlox divaricata
mixed with what looks like "Eco-traveler" and stolonifera with shades
that run from blue, purple to pink and white. The bloom time is from
March to May because of all the interbreeding. Between the butterflies
and the sweet smell,it is as close to heaven as one can get here.
