Re: spring/fall bloom

My favorites are geraniums ("cranesbills"); IMHO no perennial garden should
be without a dozen or so. ;-) Among the early spring bloomers (April) are
the native Geranium maculatum which usually stay in bloom through May.

I have one which I bought with a label "Geranium maculatum 'Chatto'" which
has been blooming steadily since early June and doesn't show any signs of
stopping.

Lamium 'Chequers' has been blooming steadily since early May; again,
doesn't show any signs of stopping.
