Unfortunately, most nurseries and plant distributors here in
the States are on the "other side" when it comes to restricting invasive
plants. They'll sell just about anything -- you'd probably be
equally horrified to know how many catalogues offer
Tree-Of-Heaven! With a few exceptions, U.S. nurseries are always the
first group to offer resistance to any kind of distribution controls or
restrictions, balking all the way. Few of them realize that
self-regulation is the best way to avoid government controls.
