Re: water garden

G'Day, Nancy --
May I suggest a web-site that a local company has:
http://www.forestgreenlandscape.com/

They "sponsored" a pond tour this summer that I enjoyed.
They use a liner and freeform their ponds.
They don't seem to build an obvious ledge.
They plant along the edge of the pond for the most part that I can see.
Their ponds are very natural looking altho their well-placed driftwood look a
little "hokey."
What I like about their ponds is they are completely covered in rocks.
From the bottom and up the sides and over the edge about a foot.
One thing I especially like is -- they always have a small waterfall!!!
I haven't done a pond yet but am studying a little.
I have brought home videos from the library and looked up some sites on the
Internet. Everyone seems to recommend some sort of kidney shape and their
reason makes sense but I can't remember why well enough to explain.
I wish you good luck.
