Hello Bill,
Must be going around. I purchased a hosta 'Red October' this spring. Had
deep rusty-red stems under the green leaves. Coming into bloom now with no
color in the bloom stalks. Purchased it to go with heuchera midnight claret
and heuchera amber waves. Know there are more breeding lines out there with
color in leaf stems or flower stems. Been thinking of calling a couple of
hosta nurseries and asking for a list of hosta with these features along
with prices.
Here we go again.
