Was Brugs & Cannas - Is Voracious Feeders

The most voracious feeder I grow is the Black Elephant Ear, Colocasia 'Black
Magic'.
It took me several years to figure out you cannot give these gorgeous things
too
much.  I now add mushroom compost/composted manure twice a month and
whereas I used to have a few scraggly new leaves I now get
multiple,humongous
new leaves each week.
This plant is  truly a "stop em dead in their tracks and watch their jaw
drop" when well fed.
