I tried this summer- not a good time to move it- but I didn't have much
choice in the timing. I killed mine. After the fact, someone suggested
spraying with wilt proof to prevent some of the moisture loss from the
leaves. Good luck!

I'm thinking of moving several MATURE camilias--anyone ever tried it? This
is tree-spade stuff--they're 10-12' tall. I've seen that they can be cut to
the bone and recover from the stump; don't know about moving. Would be
going to a shadier place.
Zone 7A within sight of 8B.
