Re: newbie greetings

I'm also a newbie and have a new perennial garden, just added to the back
yard in June.  However, I haven't mulched because I wanted to plant more
perennials.  Well, now I want to know if I should mulch now, in the Fall, or
should I wait until next Spring.  I'm a little tired of pulling out weeds,
mostly pieces of grass growing in between plant, because the garden hasn't
grown up and out yet. 
Advise would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
