I've had luck so far with "tenor", a hot pink paniculata, and "david", a
white garden phlox. My "bright eyes" got mildew this year, and I bought an
orange, "tango" early in the summer and so far so good. I cut bright eyes
down 2" from the ground, and hope for better luck next year. The flowers
were very nice. We've had a lot of rain here in the last month. (So.
Coastal Maine, Zone 5) yet they've all held up pretty well, my roses and
bee balm got mildew far worse!
