Re: Floppy moonbeams
Moonbeam coreopsis are sterile, so shearing does not cause more bloom.
These plants need to be divided nearly every year for optimal bloom -
this could be why you got lots of foliage and not many flowers. I would
divide them now - they are simple to do - they just pull apart, cut the
foliage to a few inches, plant the divisions nearly a foot apart, and
I'll bet you be pleased with them next year.
