RE: Day lily

What a nice mother and coworker!

Your new daylilies won't need to be divided frequently. In fact, they
bloom better when they are in well-established clumps. I understand
that after a while (5 or more years) the blooms can begin to suffer and
the plant should be divided, but I have never gotten to that point with
any of mine.

How long will day lilies keep before needing to be replanted? My mother
is
dividing hers and I got some from a coworker, also.
