Good Morning Cathy, you do not state what zone you are in however I am in
Zone 2/3 and will be dividing my Iris's this weekend. I will only apply
mushroom compost and leaf mulch and this should get it through to next
year. I do this every fall and have always had full bloom the next year, so
plant away and good luck.
