I will for just a moment.  Sometimes we turn out to be right ... 
depending on what one values.  I was the lucky recipient of 
blue-eyed grass, shrubby cinquefoil, tons of gorgeous toadflax 
most of which grew around my blackberry lilies and looked just 
splendid there, several wild asters, 4 species of goldenrod, 
creeping bellflower, 3 wild lobelia species and 4 times the 
amount of QAL I had last year.  All because I decided not to 
weed the perennial beds unless I was absolutely certain I knew 
the weed and because I decided to stop mowing my meadow for 
the year.  I am more than pleased.  

Jaime, who suspects pretty much no one would understand why I am 
enamored of the bull thistle in the back of one of my perennial 
borders .... I should post photos of it covered with goldfinches 
& other seed-loving garden buddies.  :)
