I have purchased a long trimmer and when I sight these yucky things, I
lop off the contaminated branch (no matter what season) and burn the
thing up.
I bought my trimmer at Home Depot (mega home improvement store) for about
40 bucks.
Its a bit difficult but worth is to me as I live in the last house of the
downhill slope to a 3 season creek..I really watch systemic stuff.
