Hi all---
I received this fall bloomer about three years ago as a pass along from my
sis-n-law's grandmother...do you recognize it? It is commonly known as the
Christmas Candle and/or Firecracker plant. I recently found a pink blooming
one - but it was simply labeled purple firecracker (no help at all). The
blooms have the appearance of being made from wax...hence the christmas
candle reference. Hummingbirds love this one.
The picture of the plant shows the leaves to be sorta of an apple green....in
reality the leaves are a nice dark green. Take a look and let me know what
you think.
Thanks for your help.
