Thinking back on it, I was probably confusing flower size with fruit size.
I haven't seen one fruit for a few years and was remembering it as smaller,
but looking at my (out of focus) slides the fruit does look larger than
the flowers (which are about 1/4").
So basically, forget what I said about the fruit size.
