White flies...

Is anyone having unusual trouble with white flies? While in the garden 
yesterday, I noticed they were on many of the plants and I've never 
encountered this before.
Everyone looks healthy tho, so I'm not overly concerned at this point. It 
must have something to do with the very dry summer we've had in the Midwest. 
Do any of you encounter these pests on a regular basis? I don't use chemicals 
on the property unless I have a dire situation - are there any natural 
deterents?
