Supposedly the whiteflies are attracted to yellow, so the good guys seem
to be spared. Several years ago the whiteflies moved to almost all my
dozens of tropical hibiscus. They did this while I was spraying them w/
dishwashing detergent, Orthene, Murphy's Oil Soap, Diazinon, Cygon, etc.
I finally bought an electric fogger and continued the battle with that
delivery system. Spraying every few days to upset their reproductive
cycle is important. Don't forget the underside of the leaves.

Eventually, Sun Oil's Ultrafine Oil (in the fogger) seemed to just about
stop them. Then we had a February frost (St Pete/Tampa area) and that
seemed to kill them off ---- and a substantial number of my hibiscus, too.
