Gene -- I say, charge a price that is fair to the customer and fair to you.
Clearly, I consider $20 and up far, far too much to pay for a plant.
First, I look to see if I can find it cheaper elsewhere (and as good a
quality) and if I can't, I have to think about how much I want it. In this
case, I am more curious than "driven to own" as I have no idea how well
these plants will do in my climate. I'm willing to spring $5 or $10 to
experiment, but the Great Plant Company prices are too far out of my price
range. For what they charge, I can easily buy several four inch pots and
try that many new plants that are of as much interest to me as are the
arisaemas. From my perspective, a good sized, healthy, reasonably priced
plant is what I look for, and if buying it supports someone I know and
respect, that's even better. In this case, I'd buy it from you...
