Re: Compost
James
my plans for the compost are to spread it around my beds generiously,
then dig it into the soil with a tiller therefore hoping to improve the
soil I already have, then mulch with some around my flowers. if I
should plant a larger plant like a gardenia, crepe myrtle or maybe an
azelia then I would dig a very large hole and fill with a mixture of
garden soil, potting soil and no telling what else + this compost and
hope that when the roots reached the outer limits of the hole that it
would be well established enough to carry on from there.
my soil in this area is really not bad, but I was hoping to improve it,
and I know it will also make a wonderful mulch.
so everyone, wish me luck and that I survive all the hard work this
project will require
