Re: crown vetch chemical control

I'll second what Carl says. The prairie plantings at Shaw Arboretum
have the usual leguminous suspects for our area, the two Melilotus
spp., Lespedeza cuneata, Vicia villosa, and one which is unique to
our site, Lathyrus sylvestris. The latter, I've dubbed "prairie kudzu",
for its habit of clambering over and completely blanketing prairie
plants. The Lathyrus has resprouted with vigor after top-killing by
both Round-up and Garlon. Any ideas on this one???
