I don't know much about current books, but there's an older series by
Harold William Rickett that has three oversized folios covering wildflowers
of Texas. It's part of his Wildflowers of the United States series (which
I've been trying to collect).
Rickett, Harold William: WILD FLOWERS OF THE UNITED STATES:
TEXAS. Vol. 3, parts 1 & 2. Edited by William C. Steere. A Publication
of the New York Botanical Garden. New York, McGraw-Hill Book Company,
[1969]. 1st edition.
The series is definitely worth it for the enthusiast, but you can only find
it in used bookstores now.
Does anyone know of a more general book that might suit Sue Ann's needs?
Chris
