Re: News from the home front

Chris asked what is blooming.

In Texas, this newbie can spot bluebonnets (lupinus tex...something) and
Indian paintbrush, and some yellow stuff and some fuschia stuff. Time to go
buy a wildflower of Texas book, I think.

Anyway, down here is is the most spectacular time of the year and I am
going to buy the above-mentioned book and go down the bluebonnet trail
tomorrow, camera and binoculars in hand.

Yee haw! I am ready for some flowers! And to learn what I am looking at!
