You should consult with your local Soil and Water Conservation District
in Sycamore, PH# 815-756-3236. They have trained personnel or access to
other expertise that can provide you with recommendations based on the
characteristics of your site. They have soil maps, topographic maps,
wetland inventory maps that you may find useful. There are also
programs
available that provide financial and technical assistance to install
riparian forest buffer strips and vegetative filter strips.
