Prince Edward County Pumpkinfest
Our local growers (membership last year 75) also wanted a closer site
than Ottawa (GPC) and we now have our annual weigh-off approximately 1
or 2 weeks later. Anyone with a potential contender is free to take it
to Ottawa, Port Elgin or even Clarence, New York.
We feel that we are encouraging the hobby of Giant Pumpkin Growing and
we here in Prince Edward County (3 hours from Ottawa) don't ever want to
be an International Weigh-off site....We are happy with our small prizes
and big parade. Have a look at our website, paid for by pedalling
